Background:
Tippler’s Tap, a pioneer in Brisbane’s craft beer scene, made a bold move in June 2023, consolidating its two smaller venues into one larger South Brisbane location. But this wasn’t just a change of scenery—it was a game-changer. With Brisbane’s only self-serve beer taps, a dedicated Sports Hall, new ordering software, and an upgraded menu, the relaunch was a toast-worthy event. Already managing Tippler’s social media and content marketing, we were tasked with creating buzz and coverage for the relaunch, especially for the official media and launch night.

Approach:
We brewed up a strategy that positioned Tippler’s as both a beloved local icon and a trailblazer. The narrative highlighted their unique self-serve taps and community roots. Collaborating with top brewers, we hosted ‘Meet The Brewer’ sessions to add some hops to the hype. Influencer management was key—inviting influencers on a contra basis expanded Tippler’s reach and brought new audiences into the fold.

Results:
The campaign was a frothy success, delivering 700,000 influencer impressions and $9,800 in media coverage value from just $2,000. The relaunch was the talk of the town, cementing Tippler’s Tap as a must-visit destination in Brisbane’s hospitality scene. Cheers to that!
