Background:
The Stock Exchange Hotel, or “Stockies” to its mates, is a Brisbane institution looking to boost foot traffic, function bookings, and overall buzz. We were brought in to shake things up with a comprehensive marketing overhaul.
Approach:
We started with a deep dive, auditing what worked, what didn’t, and where the opportunities lay. A quarterly marketing strategy was developed, covering KPIs, customer personas, campaign planning, and budget allocation. The website was optimised for conversions before any ad spend, and the marketing funnel was tackled holistically—from awareness to advocacy.
Results:
Function enquiries soared from 17–20 per month to a steady 60–70, with costs per enquiry as low as $13.50. A single campaign drove 19 group bookings at just $7.40 per booking. St. Patrick’s Day saw a $200 ad spend double both capacity and revenue goals. Food revenue jumped by $4,000 per week, and Google ads delivered over 900 store visits for just $400. Stockies is now a textbook case of how to turn strategy into success.
