Family Law

Building a compassionate digital presence

Family Law Resolution Centre (FLRC) marks the ambitious journey of two highly skilled female lawyers venturing into their own firm. As first-time business owners unfamiliar with agency collaborations, they entrusted us with the foundational elements of their brand – from crafting their logo and branding to developing their website. FLRC’s vision was to establish a law practice that resonated with empathy, understanding, and reflected the feminine leadership at its helm.

Wins Achieved

  • 50+ Leads in Less Than 2 Months: After 6 weeks of relaunching our ads in 2023, we had to turn the campaign off. The campaign generated over 50 leads – many of which converted to clients & swiftly put FLRC in a position they were at capacity.
  • CPC 1/3 of the Industry Average: Achieved an average Cost Per Click (CPC) of $3.23, significantly lower than the industry average of $9.21.
  • Cost Per Lead 1/3 of Industry Average: The cost per lead was just $33.22, a stark contrast to the industry average of around $103, and reflective of the ability to connect with their ideal client effectively.

On a personal note

“As the founder of unBasic Studios, the journey with Family Law Resolution Centre (FLRC) holds a special place in my heart. It perfectly encapsulates the very reason I started this business.

When FLRC decided to try a different route for their paid marketing upon recommendation from their mentor, it was an amicable shift. They engaged a specialist who exclusively worked with legal firms for Google Ads. However, their return a few months later, disappointed with the results and feeling a disconnect from their values and audience, was a powerful affirmation of our ethos.

This experience underscores a fundamental belief at unBasic: technical savvy and optimisation are crucial, but they should never overshadow the essence of the brand and the needs of the customers. When FLRC came back to us, it wasn’t just a business decision; it was a testament to our understanding of their unique brand identity and our ability to communicate authentically with their audience.

Our commitment will always be to not just understand the technical aspects of digital marketing but to never lose sight of the brand’s heart and soul. At unBasic, we believe in creating strategies that resonate on a deeper level with the audience, ensuring that every campaign is not just seen but felt. This guiding principle is what sets us apart and drives us to create branding and marketing solutions that truly reflect the values and aspirations of our clients.”

Challenges Faced

  • First-Time Business Owners: FLRC’s founders were new to business and digital marketing, requiring comprehensive guidance in establishing their online presence.
  • Finding the Right Marketing Fit: Initially, upon a mentor’s advice, FLRC shifted their paid marketing to a legal ads specialist. However, this move led to dissatisfaction due to a significant increase in conversion costs and a lack of alignment with their values and client profiles.
  • Creating a Unique Brand Identity: FLRC aimed to break away from traditional law practice branding, focusing instead on conveying empathy and understanding, mirroring the essence of its female founders.

Our Approach

We partnered with them to tackle these challenges head-on. Here’s what we did:

  • Branding that Speaks Empathy: At unBasic studios, we embraced the challenge to create a brand that stood apart. The focus was on designing a logo and branding elements that echoed FLRC’s empathetic and understanding approach, while also showcasing their feminine leadership.
  • Targeted and Empathetic Paid Marketing: Recognising the competitive and expensive nature of legal industry advertising, we opted for a niche and segmented approach in our paid marketing strategies. We categorised campaigns based on different regions and intents. This allowed us to tailor ad copy and landing pages to the individual’s journey, ensuring a supportive and empathetic engagement.
